![]() ![]() I ask because I'm thinking of picking up a Kurzweil PC161 since one of my K2000VP keyboards is not working reliably, has had too many trips to the shop for me to fix again, and there are certain gigs that a ROM playing keyboard would suffice, but I'd need to feel good about owning another keyboard with an external power supply. If I got to a gig and the connector was bend, or it didn't work, there's no real fast easy fix, since the power supply is not a standard Radio Shack replacement. ![]() My only keyboard with an external power supply is my PC2, and even though the connection seems reliable, I don't feel real good about it. The place where you plug the cable into the keyboard - does the connection ever get loose just by constant plugging and unplugging, and is it a reliable connection?
